I think these cakes are amazing…almost too good to eat! When choosing a cake, I think it makes sense to choose one that reflects your personality and the style of the wedding. I mean seriously…you go through the trouble to make every singe detail of your wedding unique only to end up with a simple chocolate or vanilla cake…I don’t think so!

Check out these amazing ideas for double duty wedding jewelry that allows brides to get more for their money! I love the looks and think they would look fantastic for destination wedding brides. Tiaras become necklaces, bun wraps become bracelets, and hair ornaments become brooches.

Think you can’t wear your tiara after the wedding? Think again! Smart brides are wearing tiaras, headbands and bun wraps that convert into necklaces and bracelets, so they can be worn again on the honeymoon and beyond.

“A bride can wear the design as a necklace to the rehearsal dinner and then again in her hair as a headband or tiara the next day,” says Mandy Greenan, designer for Tigerlilly bridal jewelry. “It’s like getting two pieces of jewelry for the price of one.”

Greenan came up with the idea of convertible headpieces when she was working with brides on custom jewelry. “I kept hearing over and over, ‘I wish I could wear this for more than just one day!’. As it turns out, the length of a headband is about the same as a choker necklace. So, if you use the right sort of materials to make the headband, it’s pretty easy to convert the piece into a necklace.” Check out the styles at http://www.tigerlillyjewelry.com/hair_jewelry_trends.html
